  1. FontMachine
  2. FontMachine is a program in order to create characters for Desk Top Video or 
  3. other applications which need special characters.
  4.  
  5. It is based on an easy to use and intuitive interface.
  6. The generation of fonts upto 256 colours in the AMIGA ColourFont format is done 
  7. by using the numerous graphical operators, which can be applied directly to the 
  8. font in the desired size.
  9.  
  10. The base font can be AmigaFont, Agfa CompuGra- phic Font or ColourFont, without 
  11. limits regarding the size (they will be rescaled automatically). 
  12. There are many graphicals operators available and can be applied all at the 
  13. same time without any limits.

  15. It is possible to add borders of any type, reliefs, shadow and you can even add 
  16. anti-aliasing, which enhances the quality of the fonts.
  17. In addition to this you can use up to two images (datatypes are supported), for 
  18. creating the border and the front of the font.

  26. Es basiert auf einer intuitiven Benutzeroberfläche.
  27. Die Erzeugung von Fonts bis zu 256 Farben im AMIGA Colour- Font Format wird 
  28. durch zahlreiche graphische Operatoren erzeugt, die direkt auf den Font in 
  29. einer beliebigen Größe angewandt werden können.
  30. Als Basis können dienen: AmigaFont, Agfa Compu- Graphic Font oder ColourFont, 
  31. ohne Größenbeschränkungen (automatische Reskalierung).
  32. Es gibt viele graphische Operatoren, die alle zur gleichen Zeit angewandt 
  33. werden können, ohne Begrenzung.

  35. Es ist möglich Ränder hinzuzufügen, Reliefs, Schatten und sogar Anti-Aliasing, 
  36. um die Qualität der Fonts zu erhöhen.

  46. Esso è basato su un' interfaccia molto semplice ed intuitiva.
  47. La generazione di fonts, fino a 256 colori, in formato AMIGA ColorFont, ovviene 
  48. tramite num- erosi operatori grafici che agis- cono direttamente su un font 
  49. base di qualsiasi dimensione a scelta dell'utente.
  50. Il font base può essere in formato AmigaFont, Agfa Com- puGraphic Font o 
  51. ColorFont, senza limiti di dimensione (la riscalatura è automatica).
  52. Gli operatori grafici a disposizione sono numerosi e possono essere applicati 
  53. contemporaneamente senza limitazioni.
  54. Grazie agli operatori, è possibile applicare bordi di qualsiasi tipo, rilievi, 
  55. ombre ed eliminare le fastidiose seghettature tipiche dei fonts a bassa 
  56. qualità.
  57. Inoltre, FontMachine consente di utilizzare due immagini (sono supportati i 
  58. DataTypes di sistema), per avvolgere il bordo ed il fronte del font da 
  59. elaborare.
  60. FontMachine consente di generare tessiture come cielo, mare, oro, fiamme, 
  61. tempesta,

  63. The colours of the textures are recalculated automatically (Floyd-Steinberg and 
  64. Random are also available) in order to adapt their palettes to font.
  65. The user keeps control of all actions by looking at the preview window.

  68. FontMachine will recalcutate and generate the new font automatically.
